PLS HELP: Python and Tkinter

Folks pls help,

i tried so many things, but the only thing i got to work were interpreted Tcl/Tk commands. Working on the IDE freezed the system or were simply ignored... any solution is highly appreciated, pls describe well, because me and unix "cough", getting mad, heelp

Found solution:

1) Install FINK -> fink.sourceforge.net
2) Install Xfree86base + rootless via FINK
3) Install Windowmaker via FINK
4) Install Python via FINK
