plug-in needed

I'm not able to download scripts anymore, I keep getting the following message on my screen;

"do not have the plug-in needed to view the 'application/zip' type
information on the page to get the plug-in now, click view plug-in
page" http://search.internet.com

I can't find it there, I have also tried http://versiontracker.com with no success.


help appreciated,

Change your browser prefs to NOT process downloads, download the file and unzio using the Stuffit Expander app in your utilities folder, But sounds like your internet plugins folder might be misplaced, I'd suggest downloading the latest vers of Stuffit Expander, and installing. That should set things right!
 
downloading internet explorer from http://tucows.com than using stuffit to unzip went well, but downloading a script from http://hotscripts.com using internet explorer, I need another plug in.
In the internet explorer package from tucows.com there is only a default plug-in (netscape).

I also looked around browser prefs.... I could only find internet explorer prefs with download folder, download distination, download manager options.

any ideas!!!!
 
Again, download LATEST version of Stuffit expander, INSTALL it, Stuffit plugin handles Zip functions. Or use another browser, IE gets on my nerves sometimes
 
thanks Deltamac, works just fine on a netscape browser, went to the local mac shop couple of weeks ago and they told me to try versiontracker.com goes to show howmuch they know.
