**Plz help** Save as "powerpoint package" problem

I am trying to save a PowerPoint with many linked video files. Supposedly you can save as powerpoint package in the format option when saving and this will save it all as one large file with all linked files imbedded. However this fuction does NOT do that. It simply saves the presentation without the linked files. I REALLY need this fuction to work if it is possible. As of now when I open the presentation on a different computer I need to link every file (25+ files), this is absurd.

I have all the latest updates for mac office 2004... no luck

Why does mircosoft have drunk monkeys making thier applications?
