Has anyone found a free FTP app thats any good? Isn't there one built in to OSX somewhere?
 
I don't use a seperate FTP program right now. The one built into Dreamweaver is enough for me! :)
 
I've been using RBrowser Lite, too.

You know, Connect To Server in the Finder made me try a bunch of times to just type ftp:// and see if it would work. Maybe someday eh?
 
I haven't actually used this, but supposedly you can mount FTP servers to the desktop, in read-only mode though. :(
Hopefully this will be fixed, soon!
 
Its funny that apple created iDisk and TCP file sharing (both of which are, well, not useful) but never implemented FTP into the Finder...

Little secret: in Windows 2000, in IE, if you type the address right, you can log on 2-way to an FTP server, and remotely use it exactly like you would any other window in the Windows Explorer.

Its brilliant, it would be like having the wonderful FTP program 'NetFinder' built in to the OSX Finder.
 
launch Terminal, type:
man ftp

to use, type:
ftp websitetoftpto.com

I am now using this primarily aside from Dreamweaver itself.
