Hello,
I own an iMac and an apple extreme base station router. I want to use port forwarding for p2p clients like Vuze, utorrent etc. I found out that the TCP/UDP listen port for Vuze is 25250 and for utorrent is 40937. I then went to system preferences/network and changed ethernet settings to:
Configure ipv4 to manual, entered an ip address: 10.0.1.205, with subnet mask, router, and dns server info of my ISP.
I then went to Airport Utility/internet/nat and configured port mapping to add the above mentioned TCP/UDP port with my ip address. I cannot get my router to port forward.
I tried the sudo lsof command and it doesn't list the above mentioned ports in the PID column.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
