--Portable hard drive problems--

Hi guys,

I recently bought an iomega portable hard drive but its having trouble running on my 15" power book.

I attemped copying some music files onto the drive but finder froze/stalled. I relaunched finder - on some occasions I needed to restart the laptop - to find that the drive is not even visable anymore.

It runs absolutely fine on my friend's 12" powerbook. Is there something about 15" powerbooks?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
