Powerbook cleaning?

AdmiralAK

Simply Daemonic
Well... I have managed to dirty my powerbook with my hands.
Where my palms rest when I type there seems to be a film of dirt on my powerbook. How can I clean it without scraping, scratching or otherwise damaging my powerbook's surface?

Any other cleaning tips? screen? keyboard? etc

I usually find that some Dial or Ivory soap and warm water once or twice a day keeps my hands pretty clean... might wanna try that! :p

Just kidding... I would think that a damp cloth and a little gentle rubbing would take the dirt off the places where your palms rest. I would use a damp (VERY LIGHTLY DAMP) cloth for cleaning just about anything on my computer, save for the insides and the monitor. Just make sure no water comes out of the cloth and onto or into the computer when you're cleaning.

iKlear is a wonderful product that is made more specifically for the screen, but can be used on all exterior surfaces of a Mac.

Ditto on the iKlear.

Kensington also makes cleaning pads called Surface Guardian. Works well.
