Powerbook display

Is it possible to turn the display on my Powerbook off, but keep the Powerbook running (as in actively doing processing work)?

AFAIK dimming your display down all the way is equivalent to shutting it down.

Or just set the display to sleep after x number of minutes -- same thing.
