Traveled to a corp site and expexted to be able to get my powerbook on the LAN via en0-built-in 10/100mb port.
They gave me IPaddr/ SubnetMask and Gateway which I manually configured. en0 came up with that IP and pings itself ok. Cannot however ping the gateway addr or anything else and the traffic stats show very little activity.
Tried autosense/100/10 setting but no difference. ALso disabled IPv6 as I dont think that was needed.
Usually use wireless but have used en0 before at other locations and just fine so I dont think it hardware. Not connected right now but heres what ifconfig en0 looks like
