powerbook frezzes when trying to wakeup from sleep mode

iMan

?¿?
I have a problem with my powerbook G3 Lombard, I'm using macos 10.1. Not allway but often wen I put it to sleep or when it goes in to sleep automaticly it won't come out of sleep the screen stays black. Usually it takes a moment for the computer to come out of sleep mode. But it frezzes up witch is a bit of a problem.
I had the same problem with 10.0.x aswell.
Is there any thing I can do to prevent this?

You could call Apple! Thats what I'd do ;-)

also, in /var/log, there are a number of logs ;-) check out the old system.log files, they may be compressed, so you'll have to decompress them. But they may have some important information in them, although it sounds doubtfull. I'd definately call apple about this. Because I don't have a clue!

I talked to my brother who is an apple tec. he thought it might be my usb muse (microsoft optical mouse). I can't remember if it has happened without the muse plugged in......
It might be that.....

heh... when all else fails.. remove the microsoft devices.

Seriously, that might be it. My dad's G3 power book doesn't boot with the floppy drive in, and has trouble waking with the zip.
