Powerbook G3 Problems

I just got a PowerBook G3 with this configuration 400mhz/1mb cache/64mb/6gb hd/8mb video/dvd, and I assume it a Lombard, am I right? The problem is, I can't turn it on. Whenever I plug in the AC Charger, the LED stays green, and that's it! Can't turn on or do anything else. Does anybody know what is wrong with it? I'm not a Mac person, and this is the first time that I have a chance to lay my hand on a Mac laptop. Please help!!!

Remove the battery and try again. You may need to reset the pram too. Button is on the back near modem jack.
