Powerbook G4 Al 1.67G Hard Drive Replacement Question

Folks,

I have a bit of a problem, I'm in the middle of replacing my dead 80GB hard drive in my beloved PB G4. It has however thrown me a bit of a snag as the bracket that holds in the hard drive has two screws that look like they may be stripped. They're in there pretty doggone good and I'm using a 00 screwdriver with no avail. I'd like to get this drive out and get on with the new drive and replacement...and eventually get on with my life but I can't get the doggone drive out. Does anyone have any thoughts for me to possibly assist me with this problem?

Thanks,

FG.

From a quick look around it seems the general concensus is that you need to do this using a Torx T8 screwdriver.

Although as you say the screw heads are damaged so you may need to take it to a professional.
