Hey guys,
So here's the deal, I'm trying to fix up and sell a Powerbook G4 Aluminum 15" 1.67GHz. EVERYTHING works fine once it is booted up.. getting it to boot up, however, requires one to do a silly dance. The steps for the silly dance are as follows:
1. Remove the battery
2. Unplug the AC adapter
3. Count to 10
4. Plug in the AC adapter
5. Power up
6. Insert battery
After it's up, I can use it fine.. I just sleep it to keep from having to do this silly dance every time I boot it up. I have looked for days and days on the internet, and tried replacing the PRAM (even letting it charge for 48 hours just to be safe).. all to no avail.
Has anyone else faced this problem? Anyone have a solution? I'm trying to avoid buying a new logic board.. since the most I can get for this thing in a complete working condition ($500) is the price of a new logic board.
Please help!
EDIT: I have also tried the pram, pmu, and nvram resets.. nothing helps.
