PowerBook G4 won't turn on after use...

I seem to be having avery annoying problem with my powerbook.

I'll use it like normal, and then log out of my desktop and close the lid. If I go back to use it after, all I get is a black screen. NOTHING will bring this thing back from it's sleep mode, it seems. I know it's not off because I can hear the fan.

We already called apple support. They helped get it back on, but could offer no explanation as to what is going on.

Please help ::love::

Your Open Firmware (NVRAM) may be corrupt. Restart holding down Command-Option-O-F keys. When you see the Open Firmware prompt, type the following lines hitting return after each.

reset-nvram
set-defaults
reset-all

The reset-all command should restart your Mac. If not, boot normally. Then, try your pBook for a while to see if resetting the NVRAM helped. If not, then try deleting the com.Apple.PowerManagement.plist file in Library > Preferences > SystemConfiguration.
