Powerbook Hard Drive Failing

Hey everyone,

The S.M.A.R.T. status of my internal PowerBook drive says Failing these days. Looks like I need to replace the drive (after backup, of course!).

I was looking at this one:

I think I'll take it to a Mac authorized place downtown and have it replaced.

Any thoughts?

'If' the now Hitachi 2.5 inch (63.5 mm) hard disk drives (once IBM product line) are as their 3.5 inch (88.9 mm) siblings - expect to hear a cat or baby like whine each and every time the hard disk drive performs an automatic calibration process, which can occur as frequent as every 30 seconds.
