Powerbook Narcolepsy

In the past day or so my 1.67 Ghz PPC 15" PowerBook OSX 10.5.3 has developed a case of Narcolepsy. I will be working on it and it will randomly go to sleep. My computer is plugged in and there is plenty of power on the battery. The wierd thing is sometimes I cannot wake it up by touching the keyboard. Trying to reboot does not work either, so I am forced to remove the battery, and then restart. Does anyone have any ideas of what might be causing this?
Thanks in advance!!

Holding down the power button for more than 5 seconds should do a restart, too.

Do you have any info in the console logs?

If you type "Console" without the quotes into Spotlight, you'll launch the console application and then you'll get to see your logs.

There is nothing out of the ordinary it would seem.

That is what I get on my console. I have reset my PMU multiple times but to no avail. By the way what is the maximum operating CPU temperature?
