hi everyone,
I've been trying to find a solution to this "problem" that I've been having with my powerbook screen dimming, to no avail. The specific issue is that the brightness of my powerbook screen is automatically reduced by about 50% after several minutes of idle time, irrespective of screensaver/sleep settings. I've unchecked "Automatically reduce the brightness of the display before display sleep" in the Power Saver preference. I currently have my display set to sleep after 15 minutes, although I've fiddled with different settings and have found that the brightness is always reduced after several minutes (I haven't timed exactly how many).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
