I have never had a Mac before and am trying to find the hd size, ram, etc info.......like on pc you go to control panel or my computer to find....any help?.....smmtns@yahoo.com

System Profiler.

Access via the Apple Menu at the top left corner. Choose "About this Mac" Then the "More Info" button on the window that appears.

To find all your hardware info - just go to your Apple menu, and choose About this Mac, then click the More Info... button.
That will bring up your System Profiler, which has most all the info that you would ever need about your Mac, all in one place.
