Hi,
I have a powerbook which I've been connecting to my receiver with an s-video cable to watch on my television. I've been doing this for a few months, with no problems, and suddenly today it's not working properly. The computer screen shows up on the TV, but it's as if the v-control was all messed up, and the screen is scrolling over and over. It's not the receiver, since I can watch dvd's through the receiver just fine, and I've also tried plugging the s-video cable into the tv instead of the receiver, and the problem remains. There's nothing wrong with the laptop display. I haven't yet had a chance to test either the laptop with another s-video cable, or the s-video cable with another laptop, but I wanted to see if you had any thoughts on what might be causing this and possible solutions.
