Powerbooks losing Bluetooth solutions thread

Partially Insane
Like many others, I belong to the group whose Powerbook lost bluetooth for no apparent reason. The machine comes with integrated bluetooth but it ceases to recognize it as installed hardware.
In most of the cases people only found out it is missing when they have to use it and find out their bluetooth menu is greyed out, or the bluetooth preference is gone.
I've searched around the web for solutions to this problem and managed to compile this list to bring it back to life.

- Disconnect external screen (along with ADC adapter)
- Reset PRAM 4 times
- Reset PMU
- Take out batteries and power during night (similar to resetting pmu?)
- Take out the battery and put it back on

Regrettably none of this solutions worked for my AluBook. I'd like to know if I'm missing any. I don't want to give in and send it for repairing before exhausting all the posibilities.

Thanks,
