you get to know what my problem is... a brand new noise coming from my G5. It's one of the first generation, powermac 1.8, three years old. I've looked throught many noise posts and I know that the noise my Mac is making is not a chirping (fan clicking). It's a kind of warmer noise, an oscilliation from the lower part of the Mac. I think that it's from the processor area but not totally sure. It makes the same noise as a small engine forcing repeatedly a bit more than every second. It was not like this before. I cleaned up my G5 with CO2 air spray not so long ago but everything went find after. What could it be? Anyone have an idea? This is slowly driving me crazy!
