I've been using PowerMail for several years, and suddenly encountered a problem: PowerMail would open without recognizing my saved mail, accounts, rules, etc.
I was able after trying updating permissions, resetting PRAM, using older backups, etc., AND "Switch User" to get PowerMail to work. But then the next day it happened again, and I fooled around all day, and the next day got it working again.
My concern is if this continues I will switch to Apple's Mail which I don't like as well as PowerMail. While PowerMail was running I did manage to export all my addresses, and get them into Mail. I also exported "PowerMail Exchange Database" but don't know how to get this into Mail.
Question: How can I get "PowerMail Exchange Database" into Mail? Has anyone else ecountered a similar problem with PowerMail?
I'm using PowerMail 5.2.3 with MacOSX 10.3.9.
Thanks, Enver
