This is probably simpler than I am finding it but I can't connect via ppp. I get the ol' can't detect dial tone message and thats it.
I have No Connection set in Network settings and all DNS and details etc, but as I can't even it to start dialling this is obviously not the problem.
I know in OS9 I have to ignore dial tone to punch through but what is my alternative here?
What is the underlying issue and does anyone have a solution?
Any command line I could uyse to change this?
