PPPoE, Sharing, Telnet, FTP don't work together ?

Hey,

I have Mac OS X 10.01 and am having the following problem. I connect via PPPoE and even though I CAN connect to the web and so on, if I turn on Sharing be it FTP, Telnet, ASP or whatever, I cannot connect to my server using the IP address as shown in internet connect / ifconfig pppoe0.

Does anyone know how to get X to correctly pick up my active IP address instead of using the IP address for en0 ?

I can't nut it out so any help would be greatly appreciated !

It works perfectly on mine. I have the web-server and ftp running. Check the ip shown in internet connect. It will be the one that doesn't end in .1
