preference location

Can someone point me to the name & location to preferences for PrintCenter and Appletalk in OSX.
I am having trouble with apple talk on my powerbook g3 when i disconnect/reconnect to my ethernet HP printer. The PB can't find the printer, and i get a reocurring message that appletalk is not enabled, when it is enabled...even turning it on/off doesn't help, so i am thinking of trashing preferences.

prefs are found in your librairies. for quickway to locate do a search for .plist

should start with apple.xxxx.plist

For AppleTalk prefrerences go to System Preferences click Network - Select config on pop-up menu then click the AppleTalk tab.
Do you use PPPoE? AppleTalk cannot be used with PPPoE, then you have to make a new Ethernet configuration for AppleTalk.
Btw, has this worked before?
