Ive got a problem ive noticed in both Finder and Mac:msn.
Whenever i restart my mac the view settings in my boot drive are all messed up. There is always 2 or 3 folders out of line and i have to correct this on the 1st window i open and then again in the applications window which seems to sort the problem accross the whole drive. Its very strange and ive tried repairing permissions, defragging and trashing my finder preferences and logging out and back in but the problem persists.
As for msn, the problem started around th same time. It wont remember my prefences for saving conversations. everytime i close a window it asks me to save conversations even though the save conversations check box is blank. Ive tried searching msn in finder and trashing the lot but when i re-install it does the same thing.
I know these problems are very minor but on a powerful system that works very well its quite an annoyance.
The problems seem to of both started at the same time as when i did the 10.3.7 to 10.3.8 upgrade although this is not for certain.
Can anyone thinking of any reason for this or share experience of it?
