press3.com vs. OSX.com

Stupid question:

I was looking over one of my old threads and I noticed I have two attachement links.

One is coded to press3.com and the other is macosx.com.

Interstingly the press3.com link give a message syaing the OSX.com board is going to to be shut down at 11pm for a rebuild. Ig et no such message for the macOSX.com link.

Just curious what is going on here?
