Prevent Contextual Menus

Hi,

For a project I am working on, I need to disable the right mouse button from showing contextual menus. Is there any way of configuring OS X to ignore these inputs.

I am using PureData, so maybe if anyone knows how to switch off the PD context menu, that would probably do the trick.

I should probably point out I'm using a cheap wireless mouse that I picked up for this project (as I'm soldering components all over it), so it doesn't have specific OS X software like say a Logitech would.

Does the standard system software provide the functionality to act as a one-button mouse, or would that require a specific driver?

Hmmm.. try? System preferences > Keyboard and mouse
that should have the settings that you need.
