i changed my mac to 10.5.7 when it was sent as an update since then my old epson1160 wont let me use print settings or colour management they both have a line through them. In the dialogue box it says the bundle printsettings could not be loaded because it does not contain a version for the current architecture contact the bundles creator listed here for the latest version 1.29.
i have updated to the 1.29 version and got rid of the gutenburg driver as suggested by another forum but it has not changed i still have the same problem, any suggestions would be gratefully received.
many thanks dan. h

According to the Linux Foundation's OpenPrinting project listing for the Epson Stylus Color 1160, the Gutenprint CUPS driver for your printer works perfectly.

CUPS drivers do not interfere with Carbon drivers. I have no idea why anyone would suggest deleting Gutenprint. For older printers, a CUPS driver such as those bundled with Gutenprint may be your only option for getting your printer to work with your Mac.
