I just bought a new HP PSC 1610 All-in-One printer and hooked it up to my PC. I would like to share the printer with my Mac OS X. The PC is Windows XP. I have no idea how to share the printer between comuters. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
Install the hpijs and ESP ghostscript driver set on the Mac (HP's drivers don't do Windows). http://www.linuxprinting.org/macosx/hpijs/
In the printer's properties on the PC, click Share this printer. It is easiest to share a printer if you have an account on the PC with the same username & password as you'll be using on the Mac. And to have the two computers set to be in the same workgroup.
