Printing from win98 to os9

I have just networked my dads place and he wants to be able to share files between a win98 pc and a os9 machine. Is Dave the only option.

Also he would like to be able to print fomr the win98 machine to a printer connected to the mac is this possible.

With OS X, this would be a breeze. With 9.... You're gonna need Dave. Believe me, I did some major research on the subject :)
