I've been trying for 3 months to get my ibook to print to a samsung ml1450 that is hooked up to a samba server running cups.
The printer never showed up as an option. Lately I don't even get a choice of printers anymore. I get a spinning wheel for 1-2 minutes while my mac "searches for drivers" and then nothing, not even local printer options. I can't connect to the mac Cups server using a web browser either.
Is there any way to re-install the print system without having to reinstall? I think some key parts of the system were deleted when I uninstalled the GImp-print drivers.
