Ok, I am a pretty n00b at MAC OS X, but i do understand terminal due to Linux. Although they are not the same, I might be able to understand some "complex" answers. Her is my situation:
I have 15 MAC OS X machines in a classroom and they all run OS X Jaguar, but I am not sure what version. Recently, the MACS have taken control of themselves and started printing to a network color printer non-stop. I am not sure if someone went through and did something or what. the printer is a HP ColorJet 4500. I ran into a problem with my linux machine printing a bunch of characters such as happy faces and number signs. It might be in issue with the hpijs driver, but I don't understand why they are printing for no aparent reason. I was also wondering if there was some sort of terminal command to cancel these jobs. I know that with linux, there is an IP for a CUPS manager, but it is not the same for MAC OS X, I think, I can't really remember it. If anyone can get back to me with this I would appreciate it. Thanks a lot. ::sleepy::
