Printing problems solved due to ColorSync!!!!!!!!!

Okay here is one for you!! As a last chance I really checked everything which was different in the set up of my PowerBook 333 which was able to print and my G4 876 which wasn’t. The only different setting was in ColorSync! On my G4 I had set up different separation ICC-Profiles (I am working as a designer) which I had not set up on my PowerBook yet. So I returned the settings to Apples defaults … and guess what … printing works!!!! It works in Office vX and in FileMaker it did work in other Apps like FreeHand with no problem at all. Puhh that did cost me 4 days of reinstallation an some gray hair.

Well, I think this is worthy of the archive ;-)

PM swizcore and ask him to move it. I've had some printing troubles lately, and I wonder if its the same reason.. I'll check it out in the morning.
