Does anyone successfully use OSX apps for prepress? I use OS9 apps under 10 and it works fine. But Apple has DUMMED DOWN the printing stuff to make it "so easy" that it is very difficult to make changes to printers and drivers and have virtual printers, force download of fonts and other stuff. I tell it to print to a file, and instead it still prints to the printer. I don't have options like I do in 9. What am I doing wrong? Please help.
do you know if you can print wirelessly with airport in osx??? it hasnt been working yet...im using office x and when im in X and i send to print, it wont go, i have to directly connect.
(Im wirelessly netowrked with my bro, the printer is in his room. it is a pain to connect directly because the wire is short, and his desk is full, and i have to hold it while its connected thru USB. i have to unplug from hub, connect to my laptop, and it takes forever!! does anyone know if i can print thru airport in X with my Pismo?
