Printing problems

Isn't there a search engine on this site?
I am having troubles printing to any printer on my network here at work. Everything was fine yesterday, this morning, cannot print. The message I get is, " cannot print because there is a problem with your current printer. Everyone else can print.

In other apps I get, "can't print because there is not enough memory."

???

I have plenty of ram, plenty of HD space.

I deleted all printers in my printers list and then re-added them. That didn't work either. I restarted my computer, restarted the printers. I am currently connect to the network. I have run out of ideas.

What version of Mac OS X are you using? There is a utility that really comes in handy in times like these, but there are different versions of it depending on which version of Mac OS X you're using.

If you're using 10.3 or later:

If you are using OS X 10.4 on the Printer Setup Utility menu select "Reset Printing System..." You will have to re-add your printers after this but that only takes a few seconds at best and it clears most Tiger printing problems.
