Recently I've run into a printing problem. I have a PowerMac G4, Dual 450MHz, Tiger (10.4.11) with an Epson 1160 printer attached. It's worked fine. I've been using the CUPS driver rather than the Epson as it allows some things the Epson driver doesn't.
Now when I print to the Epson, my machine goes into Sleep mode. Drops the network & printer connections. Bizarre! If I use the Epson driver, all is fine. I can print to our Lexmark laser through CUPS just fine.
Has eny one seen anything like this? Any ideas? Thanks.
