Ok here's the deal, I have a HP Deskjet printer, connected via USB to my iMac running 10.2. I've turned on printer sharing in the sharing pane under System Prefs. I've also turned on Windows Files sharing as well. Windows file sharing works and i am able to browse my home folder from my windows machine via Network Neighborhood. When i browse workgroup computers my 10.2 machine shows up and i am able to log in and see all the shares through Network Neighborhood. This includes the printer connected via USB to the iMac.
Naturally i thought i had done everything i needed to share my printer. I double clicked the printer on the Windows machine to make it my default and installed all the drivers locally. When i look in the printers folder on the windows machine it says "access denied, unable to connect" along the top. What do i need to do???? if anyone can help it would be GREAT!!!! thanks a lot
