printing white line from Quark

hey guys-
every time i try to print a proof from Quark 6.5 a thin white line appears horizontally across the layout. it cuts out data from numerous layers and images, so i don't think it's any one image. most have been resaved and replaced. i even created a new document with the same settings and pasted all the layers, but it still does it.
anybody conquered this particular problem before? help.
 
Never seen it. Is Quark the only program that gives you this white line? Have you tried exporting a pdf from Quark and printing that from Acrobat Reader?
 
Hey guys. thanks for your input. It actually starte printing correctly again after I resized some images. ??? anyway, I did think about printing from a pdf, but that's just a temp. fix and i would like to know how to troubleshoot and fix problems like this when they occur. thanks again guys.
