Problem Opening Dmg After Downloading

I have downloaded the new iTunes upgrade from the Apple website.

When double clicking on the dmg download, i don't get anything. I mean noting opens, prompts or changes. It seems like the double-click is not opening or just been blocked.

I checked and the default opening application is Disk Image Mounter.

Pls help
