problem to add events to some specific dates

I have problems to add events to some specific date. For example, I cannot add an "all day event" to April first 2011. Furthermore, when I try to add the event at 02:00 am, it automatically jumps to 03:00 am. Is there any connection to the fact that DST is planned for the same day where I live (Israel)?

I think I have the same problems with all day event for other dates.

Is there any solution?

Are you using iCal? What version of OS x are you running?

I ask because in my 10.6.6 iCal all I do in iCal is (while looking at monthly view) double click the date and then in the pop-up put a check mark in the "All Day Event" box.
