I have a G4 Mac and am running OS 10.3.9. For some inexplicable reason, the SONY CD-RW CRX140E drive on my G4 has become a read-only drive! Obviously, this is extremely frustrating, as I cannot burn or write any files to CD. It is especially annoying becaue I am trying to burn some very important files for UNICEF.
I have tried a few things with disk utility etc. - all to no avail.
Do you have any suggestions on how to fix the problem, perhaps by running a diagnostics check and fix?
