Problem with Printing from OS 9 to OS 10

I have a new program for work called " Tour Manager." It's a Database ( File Maker). It is designed to run on OS 9. I have OS 10.2. It runs fine on 9 Classic but when it comes to printing it says:
"" To Print, you must install printer software ( such as ImageWriter software) on this system."
So I am asuming that it can't read the OS 10 printer. What can I do to get it to print?
Please email me directly if anyone has a solution. It's extremely important. Thank you.

You are correct in assuming it can't talk to the OSX printers. You will need to configure one for the classic environment. This can be done by running the Desktop Printer Utility in the 'Applications (Mac OS9)>Utilities' folder

What kind of printer are you running? The connection?

Installing OS9 drivers can be as simple as firing up
Classic and running the OS9 driver install app. Or
you might have to drag the driver into the OS9
System Folder/Extensions Folder. If it is an e-net
printer, you might only need the PPD (Postscript
Printer Description) dragged into the Printer Descriptions
folder within Extensions Folder.

Heck, you might already have the printer software.
Have you looked in Chooser to see if your printer
is there?

I wouldn't use Desktop Printers on a bet.
