Hello Ivan,

I have the exact same problem. My OSX version is 10.5.7. My printer scans via image capture, it copies, but does not print. I still cannot print even when I have downloaded and installed the latest print driver from Samsung website.

However, I installed the printer on my windows XP that I run under Parallels VM (as a shared printer attached to a remote host) and I can print very well.

I suspect, given the information I gathered on some forums that so many people using OSX 10.5.3 up until 10.5.5 can print using this VERY printer, that, maybe versions 10.5.7 up until 10.5.9 have an issue with this printer.

Somebody Help.

Hello Ivan,

Download the OSX driver for Samsung SCX-4300 printer from Samsung's website and install it.

But you have to reset your printer system first, by right clicking on your SCX-4200 icon.

It worked for me and saved me money by saving my printer.
