Dear MacOSX Tech Dude or Dudette -
I've got a strange problem with my fonts that I can't figure out how to resolve. I sometimes (not always) get my mail (Mac Mail), webpages (I use Safari), and .pdfs (I use preview) with fonts that I really find hard to read (like Impact or a cursive font).
I don't know where this comes from and I don't know why it happens only sometimes and not others, but it is REALLY annoying. I just want my email, documents on webpages in simple, readable fonts.
I've tried to toy with the preferences on Mail, Safari, and Preview and where possible I've ensured that the fonts are simple and reaadable (sans serif). But that still hasn't resolved the problem.
Any advice?
