Problem with wifi connection with 2018 MacBook Pro running High Sierra 10.13.6

If I step away from being on line, I have to turn wifi off and on again to have internet access. This is only true for my brand new mac. My old mac, my ipadS, my iphoneS do not have this issue. I'm thinking of returning the damned thing.

Sounds like a settings problem. Do you have the device set to go to sleep when you are not working on it? If you put the hard drive to sleep, you can loose wifi signal.
