Problem With Ziping Files

I tried to zip a folder and it gave an error saying, "The archive bill of materials cannot be created." I tried indexing the folder, didn't work. Now when I try to zip anything it gives me that error.
Help?

I tried hunting around for this error message and it seems to be caused by not having correct permissions for some of the files you are attempting to zip. Are the files in another user's home folder? Have you tried repairing permissions? Have you tried logging in as a different user?
