Hi,
I am managing a network with a Windows 2003 File Server. There are three Macs on my network. One is an Imac Mac OS X 10.5.8, with this one i have no problems. The problems is with two macbook pros also with Mac Os X 10.5.8. Sometime for some unexpected reason they can connect to the Server (smb). I have tried using the Finder -> connect, Finder-Network. Most of the time they can go for an hour trying to connect to the server. The only thing that works is rebooting the Macs. Is there a way to restart the service without rebooting both laptops.
I dont know where are the logs on a macs.
(I am linux guy so this is a problem out of my usuals.)
