Problems opening a .pkg file

Hi guys

Have any of you ever come across problems opening pkg files on a G5 running osx 10.3.9?

Im getting the attached error message. I sent the same file to another mac user on my msn and he can open it fine so the pkg itself isnt at fault.

Does this happen with every .pkg file you try or only certain ones? Perhaps they didn't download properly.
