Problems sending email with new ISP

It all started at 3......
Hey guys,

Okay, here is the problem. I recently moved to Costa Rica so I had to sign up to a new internet service provider. In England I had no problems sending any e-mail as I could set up all of my business e-mail addresses and personal e-mail addresses in my mac mail software and then send them via the outgoing mail server at smtp.ntlworld.com... and this would cover all e-mail accounts. Great! :)

But now I have a new ISP so I have to use a different outgoing mail server smtp.rasca.co.cr, but it simply will not send. I have called support a number of times about this problem and they told me that I can only use this outgoing mail server for e-mail addresses ending in rasca.co.cr (ie. somebody@rasca.co.cr). I explained that I need to send my business e-mails out and they said that they couldn't help me with this and this had nothing to do with them. So I've tried using the outgoing mail server for my business account smtp.360scenes.tv or mail.360scenes.tv but the same problem, it continues to refuse to send mail.

However, on occasions it will send one email for no particular reason. But this will maybe be 1 in 50, so I've had to resort to using web mail instead which I find much more time-consuming and irritating.

Any advice as to how to solve this problem would be gratefully received. Thank you.

Check with the new ISP and make sure you have the right username/pass to send email, even if it's for a different account.
